Making games is a form of art that calls us to walk a murky path with courage as our guide. This creative journey begins with us individuals but is travelled together with our peers.

We created Games First in 2013 to celebrate this shared endeavour and the built-in collaborative nature of the Finnish games industry. Games First is about sharing and learning – meeting familiar and new faces in a safe environment free of the dreadful corporate networking atmosphere and sales pitches.

Games First is a space to connect with peers in a friendly, non-salesy environment. There are refreshments, food, games and conversation areas to help you connect with old and new friends. During the day, we enjoy talks from speakers aimed to spark inspiration and conversation.
